Consulting Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview of Professional Service Engagements

Nodebeaconbase provides custom, human-delivered technical consulting, database query audits, and architecture optimization playbooks. Because our engagements involve dedicated time commitments from senior database engineers, the terms below govern refunds, cancellations, and scope adjustments.

2. Diagnostic Sprint Cancellation & Rescheduling

For scheduled Diagnostic Sprints and Technical Advisory Engagements:

• Cancellation Prior to Work Commencement: If a client cancels an engagement more than 5 business days before the scheduled telemetry intake date, any advance deposit paid will be refunded in full minus a 5% administrative processing fee.
• Cancellation Within 5 Business Days: If cancellation occurs within 5 business days of scheduled commencement, 50% of the initial deposit is retained to cover allocated engineer scheduling.
• Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule an agreed consulting sprint up to 48 hours prior to start without penalty, subject to mutual calendar availability.

3. Work Already Started & Milestone Deliverables

Once initial telemetry ingestion, EXPLAIN ANALYZE plan parsing, or script development has commenced, fees corresponding to completed phases or milestones are non-refundable. If an engagement is terminated mid-stream by mutual consent, the client is invoiced only for verified hours or delivered technical artifacts up to the date of notice.

4. Refund Eligibility & Quality Review

In the unlikely event that our delivered remediation playbook or diagnostic report fails to address the agreed technical scope defined in the Statement of Work (SOW), the client must submit a written notice specifying the discrepancy within 14 business days of delivery. Nodebeaconbase will conduct an internal technical review and, at its discretion, either:

• Provide targeted supplementary query diagnostics and script revisions at zero additional charge; or
• Issue a partial or full refund for the disputed milestone component.

5. Refund Request Process & Processing Times

All formal refund requests must be submitted via email to info@nodebeaconbase.click detailing the invoice number, project scope, and specific rationale. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (wire transfer or corporate card) within 7 to 10 business days.
